The 18th Annual Hotel General Managers' Conference is being held on the 17th and 18th January 2011 at the newly reopened Savoy in London. The conference has become renowned as the most important event of its kind in the hotelier’s calendar and this year’s theme is titled ‘Creating an explosive force’.
From here you will be able to access live webcasts of our keynote presentations, watch the Q&A sessions on both days and even submit questions to the panel. You can also browse the conference agenda, learn more about our speakers and share links with friends and colleagues. What’s more, all of this content will remain on the site for several months after the conference so you can come back and view it at your leisure.
Links to the webcasts will appear on the right hand side of this page, as they become available. Prior to the 17th January 2011 you will obviously only be able to view last year’s conference.
What is a Webcast?
A webcast is a transmission of audio and video over the internet. Through the use of your Internet connection and Microsofts media player you can view the presentation live from the comfort of your own home.
Should you miss the conference, or would like to view a section of the conference again, then you can view the archive of the webcast. The archives allow you to view a presentation and, through the use of the index points, allow you to jump to a specific agenda point or speaker.
